I am now engaged (yes, engaged). Everything is pretty much set, except for the fellas tuxes and Erin's bridesmaids' dresses. We have got to do that very soon. It will be July 18th in Lawrenceburg (Erin's hometown). I am very ready for that day......you don't realize how much goes into a wedding until you have one. Mailed out STD (save-the-date) magnets this past weekend. Everyone should have them by Friday. Erin and I are going to a concert in Nashvegas this weekend and I am probably going to Men's Warehouse to pick the tuxes so the guys can start getting that taken care of....
We will be going to Paradise Island (Bahamas) on our honeymoon. We will be staying at the Paradise Island Harbour Resort. Went to the Bahamas before on my senior trip. It will surely be enjoyable. All inclusive package for five nights...woo hoo! I just realized I don't have a passport and as of October 2007, you have to have one to go to the Bahamas. Getting that taken care of this week. Government website says the median time is around 3-4 weeks. Let's hope so.
Recently got a new phone (thanks to my dad's update discount). I got the Samsung Glyde and I am liking it so far. It is touch screen and definately takes some getting use to. Also has a slide out QWERTY keyboard as you can see below. After I had chosen this phone I started to read more about it on the internet ( I KNOW.....should have done this before hand). I bet 7 out of 10 reviews for this phone were horrible. I guess only time will tell.
I mentioned the concert earlier......This Saturday, Erin and I are going to the Sommet Center to see Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, and Darius Rucker. I really like all of their music and our seats are on the floor, so it ought to be the most fun you can have with your clothes on.......(my new catch phrase). We are also staying a block away in the Renaissance Hotel, so we can go do whatever we would like after the concert finishes at about 10:30.
